WVU students work to decorate a parking area into a mini park for Morgantown residents to enjoy for the day.  

The WVU Student Society of Landscape Architects transformed the parking spaces of downtown Morgantown into vibrant mini-parks for the community to enjoy on Sept. 20.

This innovative program is designed to support professional development, foster community engagement and provide access to outdoor recreation — all within a flexible hybrid or remote work setting, so our new graduates can work, play, stay and thrive in the Mountain State.

The Facilities Management team will be repairing the stairs on the east side of the Life Sciences Building, which connects the Area 5 parking lot to the Campus Drive and University Avenue intersection. During this time, the stairs will be closed to the public. The closure is scheduled from Monday morning (Sept. 30) until the evening of Friday, Oct. 4.
