The Summer Undergraduate Research Symposium, an in-person, judged poster session featuring students engaged in summer research programming at WVU, is scheduled for Thursday (July 27) in the Mountainlair Ballrooms.

As part of continuing efforts to improve customer service for faculty and staff, the Shared Services Center is inviting members of the University community to the quarterly Customers’ Group Meeting at noon or 4 p.m. Wednesday (July 26) via Zoom.
The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at WVU, in partnership with The Shack Neighborhood House, will offer tai chi classes at 10 a.m. each Saturday through Sept. 30.
OLLI and the WVU Committee for Retired Faculty will host a virtual presentation from Stacey Armstrong, president of the WVU Innovation Corporation, at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 2.
Faculty and staff are asked to encourage all undergraduate students to attend the LGBTQ+ Center’s Undergraduate Welcome Back Event from 4-6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 26, at Maple House.
The hour-long training sessions are designed to help faculty, staff and students better understand the process of recovery, confront stigma related to addiction and use appropriate language when discussing substance use and eating disorders, and other mental health and behavioral concerns.
