The LGBTQ+ Center invites you to our LGBTQ+ History Month Education Modules Series, occurring weekly throughout October. Each week, the LGBTQ+ Center's Student Ambassadors will give a brief presentation on the topics listed.

West Virginia University has launched a new website designed to help students, faculty, staff and others better access campus mental health resources and services and provide guidance to those in need of support and services. The website, mentalhealth.wvu.edu, features a variety of online resources and what-if scenarios for students, as well as mental health resources and training opportunities for faculty and staff.

The latest Clery Act report from West Virginia University for the pandemic year of 2020 showed decreases in reported sexual assaults, domestic violence cases and alcohol-related crimes during a time when the campus population in Morgantown was limited because of COVID-19. However, some crimes of opportunity increased. Specifically, the number of reported burglaries on campus was 23 in 2020 compared with 14 in 2019.

2021 Homecoming and Alumni Service Awards  

The WVU Alumni Association will honor individuals who truly embody what it means to be a Mountaineer— the winners of the 2021 West Virginia University Homecoming and Alumni Service Awards— over a weekend of festivities that also celebrates the accomplishments of alumni around the globe.

As shared this summer, a worldwide chip shortage and other supply chain issues continue to delay the delivery of many WVU purchases — from computers and vehicles to furniture and flooring. While we are sympathetic to the frustration associated with these delays, the Information Technology Services and Procurement, Contracting and Payment Services teams want to remind faculty and staff to only use approved and established processes when purchasing computers.
