According to a new report issued by the Center for Energy and Sustainable Development at the WVU College of Law, the switch to renewable energy would be cost-effective and can be done in a way that creates thousands of jobs — and may even save consumers money.

As West Virginia became the epicenter of the nation’s opioid epidemic, donor dollars brought Dr. Judith Feinberg to the WVU School of Medicine to expand research focused on the intersection of addiction and infectious disease. More than five years later, her work is making a difference by expanding testing and increasing access to treatments for diseases spread through injection drug use – HIV, hepatitis B and hepatitis C.

The WVU women's basketball team has announced that next week's home contest against Coppin State on Dec. 22 has been postponed due to the Golden Eagles pausing team activities related to COVID-19.
