A farmers market, sponsored by the Division of Student Life, will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. today (Oct. 2) outside the Mountainlair.

The School of Theatre and Dance will begin its mainstage season at 7:30 p.m. tomorrow (Oct. 3) with “Phoebe in Winter.” The dark comedy explores the story of two brothers whose return to normalcy after combat is disrupted when Phoebe appears on their doorstep claiming they killed her brothers and demands they become her new family.
Mountaineer Nation Day, a 24-hour period to celebrate all things gold and blue around the world, is set for Saturday (Oct. 5) as the Mountaineers travel to Stillwater to take on the Oklahoma State Cowboys.
The Division of Student Life will recognize Chief Sherry St. Clair as the recipient of the Outstanding Achievement Award, and induct Kathy Clingerman and Doina Jikich into the 2024 Hall of Fame, during a ceremony slated for 3:30 p.m. Monday (Oct. 7) in the Mountainlair Ballrooms. The public is invited to attend the ceremony as well as a reception that will follow at 4 p.m.

OLLI and the WVU Committee of Retired Faculty will host Erik Herron as he discusses the pros and cons of ranked choice voting and efforts in West Virginia and other states to ban the system at 2:30 p.m. Oct. 9 on Zoom.
