Seven collegiate innovators from WVU with unique product ideas showcased their work in the second annual ZinnStarter Manufactured Products Pitch Competition. Hosted by the WVU Morris L. Hayhurst LaunchLab, the event was held virtually Oct. 7.
The Royce J. and Caroline B. Watts Museum at West Virginia University is pleased to announce a new exhibit organized as part of the statewide commemoration of the Battle of Blair Mountain Centennial in 2021. The exhibit, “Drawing the Battle Lines: Editorial Cartoons from the West Virginia Mine Wars,” runs until July 1, 2022.
The Department of English will host a reading by Alison Bass, author of “Brassy Broad” and WVU retired associate professor of journalism, on Thursday, Nov. 4, at 7 p.m., in 130 Colson Hall and via Zoom.
Shawn and Angela Ball of Ball Toyota and L&S Toyota established nursing and engineering scholarship funds at WVU Tech in 2016 and will continue their support to these two funds with an additional contribution of $40,00.
The National Athletic Trainers Association Intercollegiate Council has honored Mike Matheny, a College of Physical Activity and Sport Sciences graduate, with the 2020 NATA Intercollegiate Council for Sports Medicine Head Athletic Trainer of the Year Award.
