Registration open for summer music classes and academies

summer music classes

The WVU Community Music Program seven-week summer term will be held May 16-June 30. This program is open to beginners, amateurs and performers of all ages and levels who wish to enhance their daily lives with arts, learn how to play an instrument, further hone their skills, explore new creative territories or perform with others who share the same passion.

Members can register for private instruction on a variety of instruments, such as piano, guitar, strings, woodwinds, brass, harp, percussion, bluegrass fiddle, mandolin, banjo, hammered dulcimer, voice, songwriting and improvisation.

For those seeking to learn through collaboration, the program welcomes you to participate in classes, ensembles, workshops and academies.

During this more relaxed time of the year, find inspiration and creativity through music by signing up for music lessons, ensembles, workshops and academies. At the Community Music Program, it's always the right time to start, and never too late to learn.
