Open to students of all levels of theatre experience, the WVU School of Theatre and Dance Summer Academies consist of three one-week professional training programs in acting, dance and cosplay. The academies provide quality training for the beginning actor, dancer, puppeteer and costume designer (cosplay fan) as well as advanced level study for students with previous experience.
A dual master’s degree in sport management and master’s in business administration degree from CPASS has provided a solid foundation for Adrian Dowell's career path. Dowell has served as the vice chancellor and director of athletics at the University of Nebraska at Omaha since December 2021.
A new designation by the United States National Security Agency and Department of Homeland Security has established the cybersecurity bachelor’s degree program at WVU as one of the top-tier programs in the nation. Recently, the cybersecurity program in the Lane Department of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering in the Statler College has been redesignated as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense through academic year 2027.
Dean Amelia Smith Rinehart presided over her first WVU Law commencement May 13 as the WVU College of Law awarded the Juris Doctor to the Class of 2022.
Originally from Kanawha County, Crystal Good took many twists and turns in life. Over the years, Good has been an entrepreneur, a marketer, a model, a recognized poet, a performing artist, a filmmaker, an author, a WVU alumna, a mom and an advocate, but she admits everything has led her to where she is now.
