Unique handmade pottery from students and faculty in the ceramics program will be available for purchase from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday (April 17) in the Canady Creative Arts Center. The semi-annual sale will offer a large variety of options, including berry bowls, mixing bowls and platters.

The Mountainlair parking garage will close at 5 p.m. today (April 12) to accommodate students and guests on campus for the Junior Open House Event scheduled for Saturday (April 13).
The West Virginia and Regional History Center will host internationally acclaimed writer Jayne Anne Phillips at 7 p.m. tonight (April 12) in the Downtown Library, Milano Reading Room. Phillips will read from her recently published novel “Night Watch” and talk about the process of creating a fictional story in a historically accurate setting.
The Office of Sustainability encourages the campus community to get involved and benefit the environment with a full slate of events during Earth Week 2024 beginning Saturday (April 13) through April 21. Throughout the week, the campus community can help plant trees, participate in a litter cleanup and enjoy a plant-based meal in dining halls, among other events.
