The Black Student Union at West Virginia University will host its first Black History Month Convocation Sunday, Feb. 27, at 5 p.m. in the Gluck Theatre of the Mountainlair. This event aims to gather as a community to reflect upon, celebrate and exalt the Black presence in West Virginia, both historically and contemporarily.

In celebration of Black History Month, the Benjamin M. Statler College of Engineering and Mineral Resources at WVU is honoring students, alumni and faculty from diverse backgrounds to showcase their successes in engineering and beyond and share how they continue to make a difference in society.
