In the days since the war in Ukraine began, West Virginia University has responded to help those in need. Currently, there are eight undergraduate students and one exchange student from Ukraine and 10 Russian students, including two undergrads and eight graduate students, attending WVU. The Office of Global Affairs, Provost Office and others across the University continue to work one-on-one with students and faculty facing a variety of challenges to provide the support they need.

Starting today (March 23), first-year and senior students should receive an email to complete the National Survey of Student Engagement. The results from the NSSE will provide an estimate of how undergraduates spend their time and what they gain from attending college. Therefore, completing the survey will help the University best serve our students in terms of providing programs and activities to assist in both learning and personal development.

adventure wv first year trips  

Encourage incoming students to join the in-person Adventure WV First-Year Trips. Led by highly-trained upperclassmen student leaders, the trips will help students create lasting relationships through shared experiences and earn academic credit.
