Encourage incoming students to join the in-person Adventure WV First-Year Trips. Led by highly-trained upperclassmen student leaders, the trips will help students create lasting relationships through shared experiences and earn academic credit.
Whether students are coming to WVU from out of state or have lived in West Virginia their entire lives, First-Year Trips will help them see the state through fresh eyes. As they whitewater raft, rock climb, backpack, face the challenge course or complete service projects around the state, students will get a firsthand perspective of West Virginia’s diverse outdoor activities, breathtaking scenery and discover what it means to be a Mountaineer.
