The West Virginia Humanities Council, the state affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities, provides grant funding to nonprofit organizations and institutions supporting educational humanities programming across West Virginia.
The Council is offering mini-grants up to $2,000 for humanities projects, including lectures, small museum exhibits, educational events and planning for larger projects.
The humanities encompass fields of study related to the human experience, culture and history.
Note that this will be the Council’s only grant offering in 2026.
Applications are due by Aug. 1.
