On Sunday (July 26), ITS implemented a change to limit page load times in Applaud to address early morning slowness and outages.
Typically, Applaud takes less than 15 seconds to load, but Information Technology Services was seeing instances of hogging sessions slowing down other users’ sessions.
To address this, ITS has added a loading timeout of 9.5 minutes.
With the change now in effect, Applaud pages taking more than 9.5 minutes to load will trigger an “internal server error” message and users will need to reload the page.
