The WVU Council for Gender Equity will host its eighth annual event from 4-9 p.m. tomorrow (April 25) at Table 9 to benefit the West Virginia Foundation for Rape Information and Services’ Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner’s Fund.

Mikel Hager will officially pass on the rifle and Mountaineer mascot responsibilities to Braden Adkins during the Passing of the Rifle Ceremony Friday (April 26). A reception will be held at 5 p.m. in the Mountainlair, Vandalia Lounge, followed by the program at 6 p.m. in the Gluck Theatre.
Your child is invited to join Campus Rec for a fun “summer camp experience” during the school year from 5:30-9 p.m. Friday (April 26). Open to children ages 5-12, Kid’s Night Out offers a positive and affordable opportunity for children to interact with peers while parents/guardians enjoy an evening out.
Members of the campus community can drop off unwanted items at donation stations in Morgantown to support the sale beginning Monday (April 29) through May 8. Acceptable items include, but are not limited to: furniture, clothing, appliances, décor, sporting equipment and electronics. Items must be in usable condition.
The market, sponsored by the Division of Student Life, will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday (April 24) outside the Mountainlair. Local vendors will offer a variety of items.
Faculty, staff and students are encouraged to come out and celebrate WVU Adviser Appreciation Day today (April 23). There will be plenty of opportunities available to show your appreciation in person and virtually to those who help ensure WVU students are successful in and out of the classroom.
