The WVU Eberly College of Arts and Sciences is mourning the loss of colleague Helen Hartnett, a faculty member in the School of Social Work. Hartnett, recently diagnosed with an aggressive illness, passed away peacefully on Jan. 21 while surrounded by family.

After a two-year hiatus, Introduction to Fly Fishing will again be offered as a special interest course at WVU Potomac State College.
The College of Physical Activity and Sport Sciences online instructional designers Beth Bailey and Michele Korgeski, presented their poster titled “ Trust the Climb: A guide to establishing and managing a quality online framework” at the virtual Quality Matters QM ConnectLX national conference this past November.
“True Colors: Picturing Identity” will run through May 15 in the Upper Gallery of the Art Museum of WVU. This new exhibition features selections from the New York collection of James Cottrell and Joseph Lovett exhibited for the very first time in West Virginia—including major works by Keith Haring, Deborah Kass, Robert Mapplethorpe, Cindy Sherman and Andy Warhol, among others.
The namesakes for Reynolds Hall are driven to push West Virginia and its flagship university over the cusp of transformation.
College of Physical Activity and Sport Sciences student Daniel Thompson gained first-hand experience as an intern with WVU’s Office of Health Promotion and Wellness, helping to design the release of the recently announced WVU employee wellness toolkit.
