Mental Health  

Faculty and staff are invited to learn how to help students in distress by attending a virtual Mental Health 101 Training hosted by WELLWVU and the Carruth Center from 10 to 11:30 a.m on June 13 or from noon to 1:30 p.m. on July 16.

The WVU Esports team will offer gamers ages 11 and older an immersive and technical experience through a series of camps this summer based on skill levels in Rocket League, Valorant and Madden. Camps will be held online from 1-5 p.m. beginning June 3.

Hazing Prevention  

The WVU Hazing Prevention Task Force invites faculty, staff, students, families and community members to learn how to identify, prevent and report acts of hazing at WVU. In-person and virtual training sessions are available.

Laptop Computer  

Faculty and staff are invited to dig deeper into all 34 CliftonStrengths® to help build better partnerships with teammates and understand different communications and conflict-resolution perspectives from 3-4:30 p.m. Thursday (May 23) on Zoom.

Blippi  

The new production will feature musicians playing live on stage, and vivacious, energetic and educational antics beginning at 6 p.m. Sept. 30 at the Canady Creative Arts Center. Blippi inspires curiosity in preschoolers around the world by creating content and experiences that are relatable, accessible and make learning fun.

Jeanne Frieben  

An open house in honor of Jeanne Frieben, who is retiring after 36 years of service to WVU, will be held from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Wednesday (May 22) at the Museum Education Center. Frieben served as the director of student records and advising for the College of Creative Arts and is an artist-level clarinet instructor in the WVU Community Music Program.
