Bike to Work Day  

Faculty, staff and the Morgantown community are encouraged to join the National Bike to Work Day events scheduled today (May 20). Morgantown’s Bike to Work Day is co-organized by WVU’s Brad and Alys Smith Outdoor Economic Development Collaborative, Adventure WV and the Office of Sustainability.

Evansdale Campus  

The Facilities Management team is working with WVU’s steam provider on a planned steam outage for the Evansdale campus May 21-28, beginning at 6 a.m. An additional outage will affect the Evansdale campus June 3- 7.

Campus Food Garden  

The WVU Campus Food Garden will expand its growing space this summer to include an urban farm and a learning center at the Abundant Life Greenhouse in Westover. With help from the Office of the Provost’s Transform This! Challenge Grant, this project was spearheaded by Nikki Byrne-Hoffman and Katrina Stewart of the Department of Biology.

Dean Amelia Smith Rinehart presided over her first WVU Law commencement May 13 as the WVU College of Law awarded the Juris Doctor to the Class of 2022.
