Jason Gross, associate professor of mechanical and aerospace engineering in the Statler College of Engineering and Mineral Resources, has been named chair of the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering.

Eberly College of Arts and Science’s SpeakWrite program and the Eberly Writing Studio are hosting a write-in from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 27, in the Mountainlair’s Mountaineer Room. The write-in is a place for students to work on mid-semester writing projects and get feedback from writing studio consultants. Snacks and coffee will be provided.
