On Saturday, Dec. 21, 243 students — 146 undergraduate and 97 graduate — celebrated their graduation from the John Chambers College of Business and Economics.

An opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students to showcase their art and possibly win a cash prize, the School of Art and Design’s annual Juried Student Exhibition will be on display at the Canady Creative Arts Center through Feb. 28.

A series of events helped shape the journey to graduation for Robin Anderson, a program coordinator for the Office of Communications, Marketing and Technology in the WVU Division for Land-Grant Engagement. On Saturday (Dec. 21), Anderson will receive a Regents Bachelor of Arts, a degree program that is designed to allow working people to juggle professional and personal commitments.
Puppetry students from the School of Theatre and Dance recently collaborated with the West Virginia Symphony Orchestra to bring Igor Stravinsky's “The Firebird Suite” to life.
Manuel Furmento, a civil engineering student from Uruguay, was awarded for his invention of the SkyMounts television stand and securing a provisional patent for his idea.
