The Provost’s Office will hold virtual appeal process support sessions for deans, directors, chairs and faculty who would like to discuss the program review appeal process on Tuesday (Aug. 15) and Monday, Aug. 21.
The Provost’s Office distributed the preliminary recommendations, including the number of faculty positions that should be retained in each department, on Thursday (Aug. 10) to deans and chairs following the program portfolio review process. All affected faculty should be notified no later than 2 p.m. today (Aug. 11). This is part of the University’s focus on Academic Transformation to better position WVU to meet the needs of our students, our communities and our industries.
The University will launch a new program this fall aimed at helping students facing academic, financial or personal barriers succeed in and out of the classroom.
