Provost’s Office to hold Academic Transformation appeal process support sessions

The Provost’s Office will hold virtual appeal process support sessions for deans, directors, chairs and faculty who would like to discuss the program review appeal process on Tuesday (Aug. 15) and Monday, Aug. 21.     

The sessions will address the differences between appealing for discontinued programs and for reduced faculty numbers, as well as offer guidance on how to prepare a staffing plan for programs appealing their reduction in faculty. 

Associate Provost Lou Slimak will lead these discussions on Zoom.

The timeline, Campus Conversations, updated FAQ  and other resources related to academics, operations, finance and more are available at  transformation.wvu.edu, including an update this week to include a detailed outline of the program review appeals process. The website also includes forms to submit new ideas or provide comments.
