In the coming weeks, a security change will be made to prevent faculty, staff, students and former students from using their WVU-issued @mail or @mix email accounts to create or maintain personal accounts on Zoom. Individuals with @hsc email accounts will not be affected at this time.

The Gruver Family Evergreen Fund has provided more than $50,000 to benefit the Well-Being Adventure Series and Mountaineer Meet Ups. Both programs are designed to foster connections and improve mental health amid high rates of stress, anxiety and depression reported by college students across the United States.
Employees with dependents should submit Spring 2025 applications by Nov. 1. Applications are not required if a student dependent is already receiving the scholarship for the Fall 2024 term.
Since the creation of the WVU Alumni Band more than five decades ago, Ed Gilger, a percussionist, has marched in nearly every Homecoming Parade. “When the band plays the old standards, you feel young again,” Gilger said. “You don’t realize that you can’t march as fast with that 220 run on the field cadence, because somehow, we do it.”
Stephenie Kennedy-Rea wears a few different hats at the WVU Cancer Institute. The focus on the needs of the population remains core to her identity. “Serving the people of West Virginia provides the motivation for what I do. I feel a strong sense of the importance of giving back to the people that live in the state.”
