Marking a Mountaineer milestone, West Virginia University President Gordon Gee and other distinguished speakers delivered inspiring messages on the power of perseverance during times of change to thousands of University graduates during nine Commencement ceremonies this weekend (May 16-18) at the Coliseum.

Moser has dedicated his career to law enforcement for the past seven years. Balancing his job as a police officer and a volunteer firefighter while earning a criminal justice degree, he has always had a passion for public safety.

The Center for Excellence in Disabilities is announcing three new mini-grant opportunities to support innovative projects focused on individual and family experiences with substance use — particularly for families with children ages 0-5 — and drive meaningful change in our communities.

To accommodate continued construction, the portion of North High Street from Prospect Street to Maiden Lane is now closed to all vehicular traffic until early August. Vehicles driving across Maiden Lane will be detoured up the hill to Fife Avenue.
