Rick Kelly  

The WVU Police Department presents another edition of its “Behind the Badge” series aimed at introducing the University community to the dedicated police officers, campus safety officers and dispatchers who keep WVU safe. Kelly is a campus safety officer who possesses a strong work ethic and brings unique experiences to his role.

Laura Jackson with Deep and Wild Book  

WVU Research Communications Office writer Laura Jackson’s book “Deep and Wild: On Mountains, Opossums and Finding Your Way in West Virginia” has been named the Book of the Year by the Writers Conference of Northern Appalachia.

“Under the Dome” delivers a review of issues being considered by the West Virginia Legislature. This edition includes information on the University’s budget hearing, Board of Governors legislation and other matters.

Spring Campus  

Academic buildings will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday during spring break, March 15-23. Faculty, staff and students with keys or card access will be able to enter and exit these buildings during non-operational hours; however, the exterior doors will be locked during off-hours.

Colin Street and Rozaireo Jones  

The campaign for West Virginia University student body president and vice president ended Thursday (March 13) as the Student Government Association Judicial Court certified Colin Street and Rozaireo Jones as president and vice president, respectively, for the 2025-26 academic year.
