The WVU Planning, Design, Construction and Scheduling team is introducing new interactive maps for campus buildings on the Downtown, Evansdale and Health Sciences areas of campus. Designed to enhance navigation for students, faculty and staff, these maps aim to improve campus accessibility and provide valuable building and room-specific information.
Joshua Meadows is the recipient of the Ethel and Gerry Heebink Award for Distinguished Beginning Services. Lori Hostuttler is the recipient of the Ethel and Gerry Heebink Award for Distinguished Extended State Service. Award recipients will be recognized during a faculty and staff awards reception at Blaney House on April 16.
With recruitment and retention of firefighters at an all-time low nationwide, WVU is working to provide educational opportunities for first responders, including the next generation of firefighters. In recognition of these efforts, the WVU Extension Fire Service program recently received the Junior Firefighter Program of the Year Award.
WVU is replacing its current identity management platform with Okta, a new product that will reduce costs and complexity, and gradually improve the single sign-on experience. Over the coming months, this change will streamline access to WVU services by granting permission based on your role with the University.
