Two football players  

Senior Mountaineer cornerback Beanie Bishop Jr. is one of 20 semifinalists for the 29th Chuck Bednarik Award, signifying the outstanding defensive player of the year as selected by the Maxwell Football Club National Selection Committee.

WVU wrestler  

Following a 3-0 performance in his Coliseum debut, true freshman Ty Watters with the wrestling team has been selected as the WVU Student-Athlete of the Week, presented by University Apartments.

Mens Basketball  

The men’s basketball team used a career-high 19 points from guard Kobe Johnson and 19 from forward Quinn Slazinski to down Jacksonville State, 70-57, Tuesday (Nov. 14) at the Coliseum.

First Ascent Workers  

The first of its kind in the nation, the program is ready to bring a transformative, holistic career experience to recent and upcoming WVU graduates. Interested candidates are encouraged to apply by Dec. 1 to be considered for January 2024.
