MLK Jr Scholarship flyer  

Encourage you students who exemplify the values and ideals taught by Martin Luther King Jr. to apply for the scholarship by Dec. 11. The award recognizes active interest and involvement in areas of social justice, civil rights and world peace.

Student Insurance  

Students who do not already have a fall 2023 waiver on file, and meet the waiver criteria, may opt out of the WVU-sponsored Aetna student insurance by completing the spring 2024 waiver prior to the Dec. 15 deadline.

The Misanthrope play  

Presented by the School of Theatre and Dance, the play by Moliére spotlights the absurdities of social and literary pretension, focusing on a man who is quick to criticize the faults of others, yet remains blind to his own.

HIV testing information  

The WVU community is invited to take advantage of this on-campus opportunity from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 30, in the Mountainlair, Rhododendron Room.

The Office of Student and Faculty Innovation will provide an overview of recent initiatives and the funding processes for the U.S. Department of Agriculture Small Business Innovation Research and Small Business Technology Transfer programs at 10 a.m. Thursday (Nov. 16) on Zoom.

Don Nehlen  

On Saturday (Nov. 18), West Virginia University will recognize former Head Football Coach Don Nehlen as the Mountaineers take on Cincinnati at Milan Puskar Stadium. Nehlen’s name will be added to the Diversified Energy Terrace next to all-time greats Ira Errett Rodgers, Sam Huff, Bruce Bosley, Darryl Talley, Major Harris and Chuck Howley.
