Under the Dome delivers a review of issues being considered by the West Virginia Legislature. This edition includes a preview of the upcoming regular session of the 86th Legislature and potential priorities during the Governor’s State of the State address.
After undergoing renovations since 2021, Chitwood Hall will reopen for business Monday (Jan. 8). The building houses four general purpose classrooms, and it will serve as a centralized space for members of the history department to learn, work and gather.
Two new School of Medicine departments — the Department of Hematology and Oncology and the Department of Cancer Prevention and Control — will focus on cancer causes and risk factors, treatment, community engagement and outreach, rural health, and cancer health communications, outcomes and survivorship.
Dannell D. Boatman will present "Using Audience Segmentation to Enhance Health Messaging and Support Research Dissemination” on Jan. 26, and Nichole Michaels will present "Integrating Overdose Harm Reduction into Drug Courts” on Feb. 23.
