CMP Brass Band  

The Community Music Program Brass Band is designed as a performance outlet for intermediate and advanced musicians looking to perform brass-focused repertoire. Students, youth, adults and senior citizens who play trumpet, trombone, horn and tuba are invited to join.

The partnership will help improve student culinary skills, diversify the program curriculum and foster community involvement through enhanced hospitality opportunities in the Mountain State. The two-year program is offered through Potomac State College and hosted on the WVU Institute of Technology campus.

Children's Choir  

Suitable for children between the ages of 6 and 12, the Children’s Choir is designed to give children their first exposure to the choral world while promising a wholesome musical experience of singing, playing and forging new friendships.

Community Music Program  

Under the direction of Dana Brink, students who play flute, oboe, clarinet, saxophone, bassoon and their auxiliary instruments will have an opportunity to enhance their individual and ensemble performance skills and watch their connection to music become stronger through the repertoire preparation process.

Morgantown Community Orchestra  

Intermediate and advanced players who enjoy making music and friends are invited to grab their instruments and come to the next rehearsal from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday (Jan. 27) at the Canady Creative Arts Center, Room 2070.

Kevin Fields  

The Benjamin M. Statler College of Engineering and Mineral Resources’ Alumni Who Inspire! program has recognized alumnus Kevin Fields for his dedication to his profession, the college and WVU.
