Baseball Team  

The baseball team returns home for a midweek matchup with Akron this evening (March 26) at Wagener Field at Kendrick Family Ballpark. First pitch is set for 6:30 p.m.

Hall and Watters  

The selection of freshman Ty Watters and senior Peyton Hall with the wrestling team follows their performances at the 2024 NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships where the two combined for a 10-4 record, becoming the 36th and 37th All-Americans in program history.

University Police  

This in-person training will teach employees how to respond if an active shooter is nearby and equip them with the knowledge needed to stay as safe as possible. University Police officers will discuss the definitions of an active threat and active shooter, identifying suspicious behaviors and how to respond in the event of an active shooter. They will also cover de-escalation tactics.

The hour-long training sessions are designed to help faculty and staff better understand the process of recovery, confront stigma related to addiction and use appropriate language when discussing substance use and eating disorders, and other mental health and behavioral concerns. The virtual training will be held at 11 a.m. April 10, May 29 and July 24.

All devices in the WVU Managed Printing Program will default to black-and-white, double-sided printing and copying after a system update Wednesday (March 27) to support cost savings for the University on both old and new machines. The update will be installed remotely and employees won’t need to take any action.
