Energy Express Kids  

WVU Extension Energy Express, an award-winning summer reading and nutrition program for children entering grades first through sixth who live in rural and low-income communities, is seeking AmeriCorps members to serve as community coordinators and mentors from June 17 to July 26.

Insect Zoo  

The community is invited to attend “It’s a Bug’s World” featuring interactive activities and exhibits that include various live insects, bug-eating plants, pollinators, insect jewelry, insect origami and more from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 10 on the Evansdale Campus. The “Bringing Focus to the Unseen” conference is slated for March 9-12.

Campus and community members are invited to attend a Black History Month panel discussion focused on heart health and health disparities among Black and brown communities from 6:30-8 p.m. today (Feb. 26) in the Mountainlair Gluck Theater.
