The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at WVU is seeking volunteer instructors and presenters for the Summer 2024 term, which runs from July 15 through Aug. 24. Designed for older adults, OLLI offers non-credit classes in the arts, history, literature, sciences, math, health and wellness, philosophy and more.

Barnes & Noble has announced the promotion of Amanda Johnson to the role of general manager for the WVU Bookstore Group. Johnson, who has been with the campus bookstores for 23 years, began her career as a high school senior at the Mountainlair Bookstore.

Jim Burch, senior vice president of Space Sector at the Southwest Research Institute, will present “With New Eyes: A Space Scientist's Odyssey” at 6 p.m. Wednesday (April 3) in White Hall, Room G09.

Professor Nichole van Beek led the graduate seminar to the Big Apple, where the group visited famous museums and spoke with accomplished artists. Nine graduate seminar students and one undergraduate student were part of the four-day trip.
