As the front-facing unit of the Office of Admissions and Recruitment, the Visitors Center welcomes prospective students and families as they begin their campus visits to WVU.

Located in One Waterfront Place, it introduces future students to programs, people and places that make being a Mountaineer the experience of a lifetime.

“The Center is the gateway to our campus. It welcomes future Mountaineers and gives them a firsthand experience of what life would be like at WVU, hopefully inspiring them to choose us for their education,” said Terry Jackson, senior director of visit and admissions experience and engagement.

Campus tours and walk-in visits are offered Monday through Friday and on select Saturdays.

Staff from the Visitors Center, along with the admissions engagement and outreach teams, are also available to help prospective students and families navigate the enrollment process by offering the following:

  • Daily outreach conducted in person, by phone or via email.
  • One-on-one sessions with an admissions expert.
  • Assistance with all phases of the application and enrollment process.

“With a record number of families set to visit the Morgantown Campus this fall, our dedicated team is eager to ensure prospective students feel confident in their decision to join the WVU family,” Jackson said.

“We're excited to offer a full complement of on-campus support as they take their next steps toward enrolling.”
