West Virginia senior guard Jevon Carter and sophomore forward Sagaba Konate headline WVU's awards for the 2018 Phillips 66 All-Big 12 Men's Basketball teams. Carter was named the Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year for the second-straight season and is just the third player from a major conference (first Big 12 player) to be named to the All-Defensive Team all four years of his career. He was a unanimous choice for the All-Big 12 First Team and the Big 12 All-Defensive Team.

Four Mountaineers finished on the podium, including two runner-up finishes from redshirt junior Zeke Moisey (125) and redshirt senior Jacob A. Smith (197), as the wrestling team completed the 2018 Big 12 Wrestling Championship Sunday evening, held at the BOK Center, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

In this video, Vice President for Strategic Initiatives Rob Alsop talks about a recommended 3 percent pay increase for all state employees as part of the FY 2019 budget and how proposed measures might affect University faculty and staff and outlines ways that you can monitor the progress. He also describes how WVU’s government relations team is engaged with the Legislature on this issue.

The WVU Office of Global Affairs will host an Immigration Seminar March 9. The event will be held in the Shenandoah Room (1st floor of the WVU Mountainlair) from 8:30 a.m. to noon. The event is open to all WVU international students, scholars, faculty, staff and public.
