A conference- and program-best 10 West Virginia University gymnasts were named the 2018 Academic All-Big 12 Gymnastics team. Of the 10 Mountaineers honored, four earned their awards with 4.0 grade point averages (GPA): juniors Carly Galpin and Jaquie Tun and sophomores Abby Kaufman and Julia Merwin. No other conference team had more than one 4.0 GPA.

Information Technology Services has implemented an immediate emergency shutdown of STAR, eCampus and other WVU systems because of an equipment failure at One Waterfront Place. The air conditioning systems that cool computer servers have failed and the servers must be shut down before they overheat and cause greater damage.
