The results are in for the "All Clear for the New Year" program: In total, WVU collected and recycled more than 24 total tons of material through the program. Confidential material comprised approximately 75% of this total, and these documents were shredded at PACE. The remaining material included bulk paper items, such as books, which were recycled at Resolute Forest Products in Fairmont.

Maple syrup production, just one of many hands-on experiences for WVU Potomac State College students
Agriculture students on the campus of West Virginia University Potomac State College have been involved in a number of hands-on educational experiences this spring, with the most recent being a maple syrup production project on the Gustafson Farm.

Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day – or “Girl Day” – was part of National Engineers Week. The event connected young girls with female STEM professionals for a day of experiments and career exploration. BridgeValley Technical and Community College’s version, West Virginia Girl Day, made its debut at WVU Tech in Beckley on March 8.
