ITS suggests Apple computer users delay Mojave OS upgrade until compatibility is ensured

Information Technology Services recommends that faculty, staff and students wait to install Apple’s latest macOS, Mojave, on either WVU- or personally-owned devices until it has been proven compatible with critical applications such as eCampus, MAP, STAR, Microsoft Office and Sophos Anti-Virus.

Mojave is set to be released Monday, Sept. 24, but ITS will announce when it has been cleared for installation. We appreciate your help in making sure macOS users maintain access to crucial applications until testing is complete. Please contact ITSHelp@mail.wvu.edu with any questions.
