What began as an effort to inspire young learners quickly reminded Mountaineer mascot Cade Kincaid and alternate mascot Rachel Morgan that service matters for both those who receive it and those who provide it. The experience also revealed to them the depth of the University’s reach and their own role in carrying its mission forward.
WVU departments and units that plan to hire student workers or Federal Work-Study students for fall positions are invited to participate. The first fair — open only to hiring WVU units — will be held Thursday (Aug. 21) and the second fair — open to WVU and local employers — will be held Aug. 27. Both fairs will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Mountainlair, Vandalia Lounge.
