WVU and WVU Tech domestic students registered for six or more credits and all international students are required to have health insurance. Students who meet the waiver criteria may opt out of the WVU-sponsored Aetna student insurance by completing the Fall 2024 Waiver prior to the July 26 deadline.

Now an attorney with Sullivan & Cromwell, a law firm serving Wall Street clients like Goldman Sachs and American Express, Michael Escue was fortunate to have several mentors who pushed him to take control of his professional career and continue his education at the College of Law.

The Office of Undergraduate Research is seeking faculty and graduate student judges for the 17th annual Summer Undergraduate Research Symposium set to take place from 1-5 p.m. July 25 in the Mountainlair Ballrooms.

Pitcher Tyler Switalski was drafted in the 16th round of the 2024 MLB Draft with pick No. 478 by the San Francisco Giants. He is the fifth Mountaineer taken in this year's draft, joining shortstop JJ Wetherholt (No. 7, Cardinals) and pitchers David Hagaman (No. 133, Rangers), Aidan Major (No. 146, Guardians), and Derek Clark (No. 262, Angels).
