Register now for the Institute of Water Security and Science Spring Conference, which will be held Feb. 20-21 at the WVU Erickson Alumni Center. The theme of the conference is “Advances in Water Resource Science and Management in West Virginia, and the Northeastern U.S.”
A West Virginia University-hosted event will provide unprecedented access to renowned sport sciences professionals. The first workshop of its kind in West Virginia will feature speakers typically found on national platforms and allow area coaches an opportunity to benefit from the locally-based clinic.
Minisingers is a new Community Music Program project designed to give young children their first exposure to the choral world. Hosted at the Creative Arts Center, the class will meet on Monday evenings beginning Jan. 22 at 4:30 p.m.
Take advantage of the winter weather this season. Adventure WV will take a shuttle to WISP Tuesdays and Wednesdays - one day every other week - at 3:30 p.m. Each trip allows for 10 students. The cost of the trip is $32; this includes both transportation and a lift ticket. Participants can rent ski or snowboard packages from the Outdoor Rec Center or bring their own gear.
The Teaching and Learning Commons is hosting a workshop titled Process and Expectations for Promotion with regard to TAPS. The workshop will be held March 28 from noon to 1:30 p.m. in the Greenbrier Room of the Mountainlair.
