The Faculty Senate will meet at 3:15 p.m. on Monday (March 5) in the Erickson Alumni Center’s Ruby Grand Hall.

The WVU Office of Global Affairs will host an Immigration Seminar March 9. The event will be held in the Shenandoah Room (1st floor of the WVU Mountainlair) from 8:30 a.m. to noon. The event is open to all WVU international students, scholars, faculty, staff and public.

Virginia’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship Day Entrepreneurs are often admired as the spark of the economic development engine. The work is risky and success doesn’t happen overnight. Each step forward is a victory for a state in need of economic expansion. That's why West Virginia University and TechConnect WV celebrated the “2018 Innovation and Entrepreneurship Day at the Capitol” Thursday (March 1).

Sixteen talented teams featuring WVU faculty, staff, and students will compete with the hopes of winning Dancing With Our Mountaineer Stars 2018. The event will be held Saturday (Mar. 3) at 7:30 p.m. in the Mountainlair Ballrooms, and doors open at 7 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.

Women on Wellness  

The Women on Wellness (WOW) day-long retreat will be held Saturday (March 3) at Chestnut Ridge Church in Morgantown. The WOW Retreat offers health screenings, breakout sessions, information, tools and a personal health plan to make it happen. Your registration includes health screenings, breakfast, lunch, all sessions, a personalized health plan and connections to local resources to support your plan.

The HLC reviews WVU's ongoing adherence to criteria for accreditation and to ensure the quality of the University, in addition to providing opportunities for continued improvement. Faculty and staff are invited to participate in the process by visiting and talking with the HLC during its visit.
