Paul Lewis  

A dinner celebration will be held in recognition of Paul Lewis, who will retire this month after decades of service to WVU, at 6:30 p.m. May 31at the Erickson Alumni Center. Tickets are $50 and can be purchased online through Saturday (May 25). Proceeds will benefit the H.E. "Doc" Kidder Memorial Endowment.

Cybersecurity International Competition  

Students from the John Chambers College of Business and Economics, Reed College of Media, College of Law and Benjamin M. Statler College of Engineering and Mineral Resources recently participated in Locked Shields, a premier cybersecurity competition created by the NATO Cooperative Cyber Defence Centre of Excellence.

Podcast Workshop  

Teachers, writers and historians are invited to hone their research, writing and editing skills while working in small groups to record a podcast episode for publication on “Black in Appalachia” during this workshop planned for June 10-14.

Phi Beta Kappa 2024  

Thirty-seven graduates were inducted as lifelong members into the WVU Chapter of Phi Beta Kappa, a national honor society that recognizes outstanding achievement in the liberal arts and sciences and the championing of freedom of thought.

Physical Activity Symposium Graphic  

The 2024 WV Physical Activity Symposium — Uniting Leaders for an ActiveWV will be held from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. May 29 at Stonewall Resort State Park. The symposium, hosted by ActiveWV and the West Virginia Department of Health, aims to foster collaboration and action towards a healthier West Virginia.
