Students in the College of Creative Arts perform more than 300 events per year in many venues across campus, Morgantown and the state. Many of the events are free to the public and family friendly.

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month. Join the WVU Council for Women's Concerns for dinner, drinks and a silent auction to raise funds for the WV FRIS Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner training program at Champagne for SANEs. This program trains nurses so they can provide crucial services to victims of sexual assault through compassionate and competent medical forensic patient care.
Come welcome back the migrant songbirds as they return from their winter ranges April 17, 24 and May 1, 8, 15, at 7:30 a.m. An anticipated annual event, the Mountaineer Audubon spring bird walks will be the last two Tuesdays in April and the first three Tuesdays in May.
WELLWVU, in collaboration with the Student Rec Center will host a spring ChillFEST Extravaganza Thursday (April 19) from 4 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Student Rec Center.
WELLWVU will be hosting a "Yards for Yeardley" 5K April 21 from (9 a.m. to 11 a.m). This 5K will take place on the Evansdale 5K route. Started in December 2014 by three young women on the Boston College and University of Virginia lacrosse teams, Yards for Yeardley has become a community awareness event to support One Love’s mission to end relationship abuse by educating young people about healthy and unhealthy relationships.
As part of the 2018 Week of Engagement, the Center for Service and Learning would like to invite faculty and staff members to attend the annual Engagement Celebration Thursday (April 19) from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Kennedy Club Room in the Erickson Alumni Center.
