The cross country team opens the 2024 season with the WVU Alumni Relay Meet today (Aug. 30) on the Mon and Deckers Rail Trail, with the starting line near Terra Café. The two-mile relay race is tentatively slated to begin at 7:15 p.m.

The WVU Staff Council challenged the Penn State University Staff Advisory Council to a competition prior to the home football opener against the Nittany Lions at Milan Puskar Stadium on Saturday (Aug. 31).
