West Virginia University and Mountaineer Area Robotics will host West Virginia Robotics Extreme, the world’s only 26-hour endurance robotics competition. The event is free and open to the public at the Student Recreation Center on Friday (Aug. 3) from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Saturday (Aug. 4) from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Public guided tours will take place Friday from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The Morgantown Police Department will alter traffic patterns Saturday (July 28) for the MountainFest Parade of Bikes. Parking for automobiles will be restricted on High Street beginning at 10 a.m. Only motorcycles will be permitted to park on High Street during the parade.

Fiesta dishes on shelves

DreamCatchers is a music therapy and musical theatre program for children of all abilities. The program provides children and teens ages 5-18 the opportunity to participate in an extra-curricular musical theatre experience in an exciting, safe, and supportive environment for self-expression at low cost to families.
