The Nicholas Evans Award Committee is now taking nominations for the Nicholas Evans Excellence in Advising Award in honor of Dr. Nicholas Evans, a lifelong proponent and exemplar of undergraduate advising at WVU.

Nearly 900 donors contributed $125,000 to the West Virginia University Foundation’s Pride Travel Fund this fall in support of the Mountaineer Marching Band.
Jordan Williams, a graduate student pursuing a master’s in higher education administration from Canton, Ohio, was awarded first place in the Order of Omega Case Study Competition at the Association of Fraternity and Sorority Advisors Annual Meeting, held Nov. 28-Dec. 1, in Indianapolis, Indiana.
All advisors and faculty members have one day to complete a short, two-minute survey regarding the awareness of a student diversity recruitment event. The survey will close at 4:45 p.m. Friday (Dec. 7).
West Virginia University will close Wednesday, Dec. 5 following a Presidential Proclamation and separate Executive Order issued by Gov. Jim Justice for a state holiday and day of mourning in honor of President George H. W. Bush.
