Marking the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II, the West Virginia and Regional History Center invites the WVU community and the public to honor both this momentous anniversary and West Virginia Day at 2 p.m. June 20 in the Downtown Library, Milano Reading Room.
Join the LGBTQ+ Center for a live reading of Ed Wood’s 1953 “Glen or Glenda” script at 2 p.m. or 7 p.m. June 7 at M.T. Pockets Theatre in Morgantown. Tickets are $10 and available for purchase online or at the door.
Faculty and staff are encouraged to invite high school students who are passionate about storytelling, journalism or digital media to register for WVU Media Camp, which will be held June 23-26. The registration deadline is Friday (May 23).
Faculty and staff are invited to discuss “Let Them Theory” by Mel Robbins every Thursday at 4 p.m. beginning June 5 through July 24 on Zoom. The book is a step-by-step guide on how to stop letting other peoples’ opinions, drama and judgment impact your life.
