The No. 10 men’s soccer team came back from a two-goal deficit against Georgia Southern in the Sun Belt quarterfinals, taking down the Eagles, 3-2, Sunday (Nov. 10) at Dick Dlesk Soccer Stadium. The Mountaineers will next face Kentucky in the semifinal round at 7 p.m. Wednesday (Nov. 13).
The men’s soccer team collected a few major awards as graduate student Sergio Ors Navarro was named Sun Belt Player and Offensive Player of the Year, and head coach Dan Stratford was named Sun Belt Coach of the Year.
