Join Blue Zones Project today (Nov. 14) at 5 p.m. at the Erickson Alumni Center for a presentation by national speaker Nick Buettner about improving well-being for citizens of Morgantown
The women’s basketball team will play host to Bryant Thursday (Nov. 15) in the WVU Coliseum at 10 a.m. The game will promote and support Education Day. An estimated 8,000 local elementary and middle schools will be in attendance for the 10 a.m. tipoff. Admission is free for all fans.
The Secular Student Alliance will host Jim Helton, national field organizer for American Atheists, for a presentation titled "The Time Is Now" at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday (Nov. 14) in Oglebay Hall room 102
“Patriotism, Politics and the Playing Field” is planned today (Nov. 13) at 7:30 p.m. in the Mountainlair Ballrooms. The panel discussion, presented as part of the David C. Hardesty Jr. Festival of Ideas, will feature national sports journalists, commentators and athletes discussing the intersection of sports, race and media during a time of intense political division and partisanship.
The Collaborative is hosting a Spare Change drive for WVU's student pantry, The Rack. This drive is planned Friday (Nov. 16 )from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Mountainlair. Donate any amount and receive a WVU iServe T-shirt.
